Thanksgiving

Na história dos Estados Unidos muitas foram as celebrações de Thanksgiving e proclamações de datas em que os americanos se lembrariam de agradecer a Deus. Em 1789 o presidente George Washington proclamou que o Dia Nacional de Ação de Graças deveria ser celebrado na última quinta-feira do mês de Novembro, em honra à Constituição dos Estados Unidos. 

Esse ano, dia 24 de Novembro, a Igreja Batista Vida Nova Hawaii teve a oportunidade de realizar um grande evento junto com algumas outras igrejas americanas da ilha. Juntos reunimos com o propósito de doar um pouco do que temos para vermos vidas transformadas, feliz e gratas a Deus por tudo. Juntos nós realizamos o thanksgiving de muitos mendigos dando a eles um grande almoço com uma deliciosa comida. 

Para muito isso não existe no Hawaii, ou seria melhor dizer no EUA. Mas isso ainda é realidade para muitos aqui. Ainda existem pessoas nas ruas passando necessidades e fome. 

Foi um dia maravilhoso de muito louvor, adoração, dança, agradecimento e muita comida deliciosa. Além disso foi um dia que vimos grandes sorrisos, testemunhos e realizações. 

Que possamos sempre tirar um tempo de nosso dia para agradecer ao Pai tudo que Ele tem feito por nós.

WORSHIP 2011

Background:

The WORSHIP Conference started off as a cry from our hearts to reach out and connect with the Church all over the islands of Hawai’i in worship and prayer for spiritual awakening in this generation as “one body, and one Spirit, even as we are called in one hope of our calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in us all”

Purpose of the conference:

Our ambition with the WORSHIP Conferences is to create an environment where you can be immersed in God’s love and His presence through prayer, music and dance. We are committed to providing an atmosphere where you can strengthen your relationship with Jesus, renew your love for one another and refuel your passion for the vision of God in your life.

Theme:
Living in the ordinary expecting the extraordinary.

Parking arrangements:
We will be providing a person for assist in the organization of parking. Besides the parking of the church, we get parking available at Queen Ka'ahumanu School located across the street from the Church.

Esse foi mais um dos projetos que nasceu no coração do Senhor.

Point Vida Nova é para nós uma oportunidade de crescermos em COMUNHÃO e ao mesmo tempo termos a oportunidade de nos DIVERTIMOS na presença do Senhor!
Isso mesmo, quem disse que não podemos nos divertir? Será que não podemos ter um tempo de COMUM união com nossos irmãos, na praia, pegando umas ondas, jogando uma bola e comendo um bom churrasco?

Point Vida Nova é uma oportunidade que temos para termos um tempo juntos compartilhando do amor e da graça de Cristo e também passar desse amor para os outros.

J # 1 Mission Project 2011

Background: The brazilian Church, is promoting the J # 1 Mission Project. The focus this event is to be evangelizing the large number of brazilians students that are ariving on the Oahu island (Hawaii) as temporary workers.

Background:
Worship in 2010 is an initiative of the Brazilian Church in unity with the Hawaiian Church. to be restoring the unity of body and the practice of invoking the name of the Lord Jesus. Therefore, the event is serving to establish unity in Christ among peoples of different cultures in Hawaii.

Purpose of the conference:
The purpose this event will be restoring the unity of the body and the practice of invoking the name of the Lord Jesus Christ Rom. 10:9-13
Outcome:
Salvation for those who invoke the name of the Lord.
